Decoy JS-5 Castin' Single

Decoy JS-5 Castin' Single is a heavy-duty single hook with an inline eye, designed for poppers and stickbaits in heavy saltwater fishing.

The wide inline eye sits in line with the shank, so the hook hangs correctly on a heavy-duty split ring and has minimal effect on the lure's action when you replace the treble hooks. Decoy's Smart Eye makes it easier to thread on a heavy-duty split ring and reduces wear on the ring. The eye is also soldered and seamless, so there is no gap where the ring or line can get caught.

The hook bend is shaped for fishing with plugs, providing smooth hook-ups and good holding power during the fight. The hook is tin-plated and coated with Decoy's Aqua Block to resist rust in saltwater.

The JS-5 is a popular choice if you want to fish with a single hook for more gentle catch & release, or where regulations require single hooks.
